Where: The Hangar Bubble @ Downsview Park

When: January 29th, 2012

Time: 1pm to 3pm

The CFF will be holding a Pre-Combine Workout at The Hangar @ Downsview Park. We will be practicing and coaching up the skills and drills that will be timed and tested at our 1st Annual CFF Combine in February. This Pre-Combine Workout will be provided FREE by the CFF for ALL High School Student Athletes in the GTA!

Drills:
- Electronically timed 40 yard dash
- T-Test/Shuttle Test
- Vertical Jump (Tower)

Skills:
- Positional Drills
- 1-on-1′s
- CFF 4-on-4′s

This event will also be a chance to PRE-REGISTER for our upcoming CFF Combine @ Lamport Stadium

To Pre-Register: Bring $30 Registration Fee to Reserve your spot at the 1st Annual CFF Combine @ Lamport Stadium

Congratulations to the Donald A. Wilson SS Gators for winning the 2012 Metro Bowl!!

This Metro Bowl won’t soon be forgotten as the Gators edged out St. Andrews College 21-14 in Overtime. This game was a great example of why they call football a “Game of inches.” The final play for St. Andrews in overtime was a 3rd down pass that ended up just a few inches shy of a 1st down, resulting in a stop and a Metro Bowl win for the Gators.

The CFF watched the game from the sidelines and were there cheering for our 2 CFF Elite Prospects that were playing in the game. CFF’s own Malcolm Carter was playing for St. Andrews and had a solid game in the losing effort.

The Canadian Football Factory was joined by Mayor Rob Ford for the 2nd half of the game. We discussed the state of football in Toronto and how to take high school football in the GTA to the TOP!! Big things are developing in Toronto high school football in the very near future and the CFF and the Mayor of this great city are going to lead the charge!

Jeremy Ambraska has been with CFF since our very 1st camp back in the summer of 2010. This year at our 2011 CFF pre-season training camp, Jeremy was a star. He showed off his big, accurate arm in drills and 1-on-1′s and was a charismatic leader all week. After our CFF training camp, Jeremy returned to Monarch Park to lead a football team he helped found.

Here at the Canadian Football Factory, we recognized the unique set of talents Jeremy had from way back in 2010. However, he is now getting recognized city wide with the Toronto Star writing an article on him.

]]> CFF Prospect Broderick Martin has committed to York University and becomes the 1st player to join the Lions’ 2012 recruiting class. Broderick played this high school season with Chaminade and played OVFL with the Etobicoke Eagles this summer. B-rod is easily the fastest 260 lbs player ever to come through the CFF program and his athleticism and rare combination of size and speed will contribute to York’s defense right away.
